CrossFit is performing constantly varied, functional movements, at high intensity. Functional movements are the core movements of life, and reflect the best aspects of weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing and more. They are best suited for moving large loads long distances, and maximizing work capacity. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad and inclusive fitness supported by measurable, observable, and repeatable results. WOD classes are led by a coach; each class is an hour long, consists of a warm up, skill or movement instruction and practice and workout. We offer these classes eight times a day, Monday-Friday.
This is a high volume, generally high skill practice where athletes can come in and perform “competition style” workouts with a group. This is not a coached class, but a coach will be in attendance. All levels are welcome but you should be familiar enough with movements and methodology to scale and modify as needed without instruction. No additional cost.
This class focuses on the snatch and clean and jerk, as well as assistance movements. Each class runs until everyone has completed the programming. No additional cost.
This class focuses on recovery style yoga and runs from 8am-9:15 every Sunday. No additional cost.
